The Ooey-Gooey Center

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love what I do.

I get to spend most of my time around brilliant leaders driving to be better. Better for themselves, better for their loved ones, better for their teams. And I'm reminded every day that for each of us, "better" is unique. Sometimes "better" is learning from our failures or processing raw emotion; "better" can be plotting our way to the next promotion or our next quality time off. Whatever the, "better," it's ours, it's attainable, it's worthy.

But let's get to the ooey-gooey center already.

Today's one of those special days when I can invite you into a conversation with a client! Not to preach or teach, but rather to give you the same reminder I have every day:

  • We're not alone.

  • We can lean into our collective strength and know-how.

  • And every time we push a little harder for ourselves, raise the bar for how we care for ourselves ... we make it easier for the next person to do the same.

Meet Sam Maldonado:

Milwaukee native, senior leader in D&I, mom, business owner, community convener, advocate, never-settler and the one to credit for today's phrase, "Ooey-gooey center."

Join me in an energizing conversation about what on earth driving toward the, "ooey-gooey center," even means and the connections and learning it can bring for us.

Jump into the conversation where you most want that reminder you're not alone.
