About Claire
I love people who are over the status quo.
Because, shouldn’t we be?
This world isn’t good enough for us yet. It can be more whole, just, creative, joyful, healthy, equitable, more ours.
And we’ve got a role to play in making it happen.
So yes, I’m suggesting we want more.
Joy
Confidence
Purpose
Laughter
Equity
Security
Access
Resources
Purpose
Balance
Time
Justice
Presence
Connection
And who, seriously, would suffer if we had a surplus of all this? More importantly, who would benefit?
More for us means more for everyone.
In coaching, I’ll help you cultivate more with:
JOY
I believe you should take the work seriously, and yourself a little less seriously: there is JOY in reflection and growth! Let’s share it.
CURIOUSITY
I’m curious: expect authentic questions; I’ll help you get to the root of what drives you, and where to start.
GROWTH
I am committed to life-long learning: there is no “too late,” or “I should have already,” here. It’s the right time to grow, and growth is for everyone.
I was over it, too:
Cycling in and out of imposter syndrome
Stressing over other people’s drama
Having me time only be available from 5:30-7AM or after 9PM
Trying to fit in job description boxes
The judgmental voice in my head
I studied leadership, coaching and transformation, then I took a leap.
I want to share my learnings and processes with you. The faster we can go from “over it” to transformation, the better our collective world will be. And that’s where I want to live.
Chances are, I’ll still be working on transformation tomorrow.
So you can count on me being here at your side in this most human, humbling process. There’s always work to do and I’ll stay dedicated to our progress.
Coaching for your aha! moment.
I started my career as a middle school bilingual teacher and discovered quickly how much I LOVE the aha! moments. You know, that moment when something clicks that takes you from from confusion to clarity and the sun rises over the mountains, the birds sing and gold dust covers your radiant, smiling face. Yeah, that one.
Since teaching in Room 210, I’ve stayed close to aha! moments while developing my leadership and honing my impact. I’ve spent more than a decade working in education from teaching and coaching in K-12 classrooms to instructing graduate courses and leading faculty development in academic medicine.
I jumped into this coaching practice with a sense of purpose, deep clarity and joy. I’m committed to you and your aha! moments on the way to making this transition a holistic transformation.
