Courage inspires Courage

Last week I had the chance to ask dozens of people to share their biggest, even most secret dreams.

Some of these dreams were about achieving big outcomes, others related to a sense of self-actualization (feeling confident, being fearless), while some focused on relationship to others. All shapes, all sizes, all valuable.

Here's what I remembered: courage inspires courage

When we have the vulnerability to say, "I'm not there yet..." and courage to identify the dreams we have for our next phase of life, it invites others to do the same. No matter how big or small you may judge your dream to be - it has the potential to be a proof point, create momentum, and form connections with others. And once that dream is out in the world, don't be surprised when it's greeted with enthusiasm, more ideas, resources and support. Together, we can make our dreams bigger and more possible all at once.

A whole new wave of dreaming can start with you.

We don't have to wait for the next inspirational event to be able to share our biggest dreams. We can start exactly where we are. So write a note, whisper to a friend, leave an anonymous post-it in a public place, shout from the rooftops, TikTok or text your next dream and share it with the world. The ripple effect of your courage will stretch further than you can see.
